Access point can be mounted outside. There are ventilation holes for cables to go out. if the storeroom or one of its ventilation holes is in the centre of the house, it might be a good location for the access point.

Yah quite a good place the mount a Ap and quite centralize location. Have no issue with wifi in all my bedrooms and toilet.

5ghz penetration is weaker, this one cannot do anything about it one. But what are you connecting to the 5ghz band? Did you get a layout of your new home from HDB?
oh the new BTO looks like that below and say if i have these routers:

        1) AC5300
        2) CT 8 (pack of 2 bundle)

Which should set as main router and the other as nodes mesh.

Bed room 3 is actually a Game Room with desktop and consoles.
Bed room 2 is guest room
Bed room 1 is masterbed room.

If budget allows, I would totally pull a network point and place it between wc2 and bedroom 2. Place it close to ceiling so you can put an access point there, then the other end will be in your db box area with your other network points for the other rooms.

Hmm WC2 and bedroom 2 (ceiling AP mouting)? If i just place the router in Room 2, will it be okay? Not sure Masterbed room can receive full bar 5.0 a not.

Master bedroom network shouldn't be an issue 70-85% signal i guess depending what router u using. Bedroom 3 may get slow speed.

I see the distance scale, the AC56 no problem covering until room 3.

You mean put 1 router in room 2 to connect to your router in your circuit breaker box area? Should work also, but I usually prefer the room ones to be for actual devices like PC or laptops.

Unfortunately, 5ghz band easily degrades with walls/doors/furniture/other wireless interference. Positioning is also key. I used to have at least 3 APs placed at table level to get full coverage. But when managed to get the AP to a central corridor location (ceiling), 1 was only needed.

Hmmm, I assume for this layout, the db box area is next to the store room? Or is it elsewhere?

        usually DB box beside kitchen?

        That's why i don't know if AC5300 still need a not..

Usually main router should use the best and mesh just normal can already right? So long it's 5.0GHZ.

Now i dont know want to do backhaul using Ethernet or wifi.

Unless you don't have data points, there should not be any need for consideration for Ethernet backhaul.

        Wired > always > wireless

If my old flat had data points, all my mesh nodes will be wired for sure.

if have data points at the rooms, no need for mesh nodes.
